Nikodem Szpunar

Nikodem Szpunar, a designer from Warsaw, Poland, is a graduate of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and also studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. He specializes in designing furniture and interior design items for both industrial and short-series production. In addition to his industry collaborations, he also creates paintings using his own unique technique. Szpunar has received numerous awards, including the Good Design award in Poland, the International Furniture Design Award in Asahikawa, Japan, as well as the Make me! and Must Have awards. He was honored with the title of Designer of the Year in 2019 by Arena Design and in 2021 by the Polish Institute of Industrial Design. His designs have been showcased at international fairs, exhibitions, and industry events in cities such as Berlin, Milan, London, New York, Hong Kong, and Japan. Since 2022, he has also been exhibiting his paintings, with showings at the Łódź Design Festival, Targi Rzeczy Ładnych (Beautyful Things Fair), and in the Michał Torzecki Studio and City Gallery BWA in Bydgoszcz. In 2023, Szpunar began collaborating with Galerie Sept from Brussels.
