Barbara Broekman

Barbara Broekman, born in Amsterdam in 1955, is a renowned artist who creates awe-inspiring artworks using textile patterns and techniques. Her work delves into the relationship between art, textiles, and universal human themes such as love, loss, repression, and conflict. Broekman’s art is a reflection of personal experiences in a broader context, with dazzling compositions that zoom in and out of life, from the micro level to the entire universe.
