The combination of a brass hinge mechanism with the transparent mouth-blown glass shade gives the sturdy Atlas a poetic appearance. By folding the hinge mechanism upright, the glass shade is held up while resting on the structure. Atlas comes in two sizes: a large shade with a diameter of 450 mm and a smaller shade with a diameter of 350 mm.
