David/Nicolas is a design studio based in Beirut that was co-founded in 2011 by David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem. With a blend of local and international experiences, their work is influenced by diverse perspectives, resulting in rich content and captivating aesthetics. The studio's philosophy is rooted in teamwork, where collaboration and the exchange of different ideas and opinions shape the character, narrative, and distinct personalities of the spaces and objects they create. Their approach to design is centered around the concept of timelessness, as they skillfully blend various design periods to produce pieces that defy trends and instead convey a unique character that reflects their emotional connection to each project. Their exceptional talent has been recognized by the New York Times, who named them as one of the three breakout stars of the Milan Design Week 2014. They have also exhibited with prestigious galleries such as Nilufar Gallery and participated in the Wallpaper* Handmade Exhibition. In 2015, their tableware set "Orquestra" for Vista Alegre received both the "Wallpaper* Award" and the "Red Dot Design Award." Additionally, they have been included in Wallpaper Magazine's POWER 200 list, which features the top 20 designers under 40.
